How much are guitar lessons with Magnus Guitar?

Private one-on-one lessons are KES 3,500 per month.

Where do lessons take place?

At the comfort of your own home. Generally it’s always nice to have lessons in your garden or balcony so that we don’t get in the way of people moving in and out of the house.

What instruments do you teach?

Acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, and guitalele.

Do I need my own guitar?

Yes, students need their own guitar so they can practice by themselves and make the most out of their guitar lessons.

How long do lessons last?

Lessons last between 40 to 60 minutes, but it’s dependent on your energy level. When you are starting out lessons will probably be shorter due to all the information you’re taking in, but as you advance, lessons naturally get longer as you build mental and physical endurance.

What Genres of music do you teach?

Classic Rock, Modern Rock, blues, bluegrass, reggae, seben, lingala, gospel, pop, metal, reggae, soul, rnb, fingerstyle.

Where in Nairobi do you teach?

Westlands, Kilimani, Karen, Muthaiga, Runda, Gigiri, Loresho, Kileleshwa, Spring Valley, Lavington, Tigoni, Limuru.

What age or level are lessons for?

I’ve taught various age groups from 7 - 50 years old. It’s a wide age range, but what matters most is that you are passionate about the instrument.
